We are looking for an Entry-level Traffic Engineer to join our growing team of Traffic Engineers. As a key member of our team, you will work on challenging transportation projects including assisting with traffic design of highway engineering projects; performing traffic analysis and design; traffic signal design and analysis, striping, signing, and utility coordination; multimodal studies including pedestrian and bicycle studies; and perform and review traffic impact studies and analysis reports. You will work under the direction of a project manager and have the advantage of working in a firm that prioritizes mentoring and career development, while empowering employees to exceed their ambitions.
This position can work in our headquarters located in Minneapolis, Minnesota, or offer a hybrid work arrangement, allowing you to work from home a select number of days each week.

Here's what you’ll have –
- 0-3 years of experience
- BS degree in Civil Engineering
- Working knowledge of software:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in several computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and experience with the following Traffic Engineering software a plus (Synchro/SimTraffic, VISSIM, RODEL, Sign CAD, MicroStation, AutoCAD)
Ideally you’ll also have –
- Master’s degree in Transportation Systems Engineering or a related field
- Experience in conducting Traffic Engineering and transportation planning studies (field visits and oversee data collection)
- Knowledgeable in transportation data such as crash data, signal data, vehicle probe data, traffic count data and analysis of large datasets
