Entry Level Software Application Tester (Hybrid)

Tapestry Solutions, a part of Boeing Global Services BGS, is seeking an Entry LevelSoftware Application Tester in San Luis Obispo, CA, San Diego, CA, or Maryland Heights, MO. In this position you be responsible for software testing service, completion and decisions at the feature and component level. You will join an agile cross-functional team that supports your skill development and successful software delivery. Our growth does not come from ever increasing virtual extraction via advertisements or screen time or tolls. This entry-level role offers the chance to learn the software development lifecycle and develop your testing and troubleshooting skills. Position Responsibilities:
- Verification & validation of software via automated & manual functional & non-functional testing.
- Test case creation, maintenance, and execution.
- Defect reporting and confirmation.
- Test planning, execution, and reporting for software features.
- Internal team communication of feature and component testing status.
- Contributions to continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., training, tools, processes).
This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.
This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 2+ years of technical experience related to troubleshooting of software.
- 2+ years of STEM Higher Education/Certification/Training
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Completed STEM Higher Education
- Automated testing & scripting experience
- Software development and DevOps experience
- Agile Software Development Lifecycle experience
- Technical writing experience
Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
