The role of the Regulatory Specialist is to provide regulatory support to internal and external customers in accordance with legal requirements and corporate guidelines. They will perform predefined responsibilities and/or deal with technical/functional problems according to established standards and processes. Some of the core responsibilities include maintaining service level KPIs, adhering to regulatory service frameworks, and mastery of business software (BW/Sage/SFDC).
Primary Tasks and Responsibilities:
Actively participate in department meetings & discussions.
Proactively participates in team building events & networking opportunities.
Sensory Panel Participation
Virtual and In-Person Events
Others as the business dictates
Advise internal customers regarding regulatory compliance related to creation and research needs & initiatives.
Identify regulatory challenges relevant to commercial opportunities and collaborate cross functionally to solve them.
Develop and maintain company SOPs.
Customer Support:
Complete and deliver documentation to support internal & external customer requirements.
Identify issues relevant to customer opportunities.
Build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers.
Obtain thorough knowledge of customer requirements.
Identify opportunities for efficiencies with current processes.
Deliver support on time, meeting customer expectations.
Work to provide solutions, rather than just answers.
Qualifications:
- University / Bachelor's Degree in food, biological or physical sciences or relevant field.
