Entry Level Mechanic/Maintenance position

Job Overview:
We are seeking an Entry Level Mechanic to join our team. As an Entry Level Mechanic, you will be responsible for assisting with the maintenance and repair of various mechanical systems and equipment. Responsibilities:
- Assist with the fabrication, installation, and repair of mechanical systems
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as lubricating parts and inspecting equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and make necessary repairs
- Follow schematics and technical manuals to ensure proper installation and repair procedures
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track work orders and document completed tasks
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems and components
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication skills
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems is a plus
- Prior experience in facilities maintenance or related field is preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues

Note: This is an entry-level position, so no prior experience is necessary. We are looking for individuals who are eager to learn and grow in the field of mechanics.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.29 - $23.23 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Evening shift
• Weekends as needed
