Entry-Level Manufacturing

These positions are key contributor roles on department teams that require safely and efficiently manufacturing products that will meet the needs of internal and external customers. This is a 4 day work week position (Monday through Thursday 5am to 3:30pm)

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Follow all safety rules and regulations, all work must be done thinking “Safety First”
• Learn RVD department terminology
• Learn to master all necessary job specific paperwork
• Observe and learn various duties
• Watching for issues and defects
• Maintain a clean and safe work place in accordance with Rogue Valley Door and OSHA guidelines
• General duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications:

• Good hand and eye coordination
• Great attention to detail
• Outstanding work ethic
• Be self-motivated
• Have a teamwork/positive attitude

Minimum Requirements:

• Knowledge of wood species (helpful, but not required)
• Must be a quick learner
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Knowledge and ability to meet the physical demands and varying work environments at RVD
• Must be able to wear required Personal Protective equipment (PPE) for extended periods
• Must be able to climb stairs, stand for extended periods of time, and safely lift up to 50+ lbs.
