Responsibilities:- Identify new client insurance needs, insurance risk, goals, current coverage, and financial situation by scheduling meetings for new customers, ensuring a personalized experience
- Onboard incoming and retain existing clients via a variety of customer service tasks, such as appointment booking, and responding to inquiries regarding billing, coverage, eligibility, and insurance policies
- Ensure all contracting paperwork is up to date while maintaining databases, records, and bookkeeping
- Aid policyholders with the insurance claims process while supervising the progress of current insurance claims
- Grow new business by generating a prospective customer base and advertise our insurance products via networking, asking for referrals, cold calling, and other marketing strategies
- Meeting and contacting new potential clients to discuss financial concerns and needs
- Conducting information-gathering meetings with clients
- Analyzing client needs and presenting potential solutions
- Providing ongoing service to clients
- Developing and implementing personal business and marketing plans
- On-going development of professional skills and knowledge
- Background in the health insurance or Life Insurance industries preferred
- Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite
- Candidates with an active Life & Health insurance license are strongly preferred
- Previous customer service or experience as a sales representative preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
