The schedule for this role is Tuesday - Saturday 6am-230pm.
As a Lab Analyst, you'll join a collaborative team ensuring that our clients can deliver their services - uninterrupted. Based in Allentown, PA, you'll have the opportunity to perform a variety of tasks including sampling, testing and analysis of water and wastewater related systems. You'll contribute to the success of our program by safely and efficiently performing chemical, biochemical, and bacteriological tests using laboratory equipment and materials to evaluate conclusions and solutions to complex challenges that may arise in the industrial facilities. You'll conduct a variety of tests of plant influent, effluent, and receiving bodies; examine digester and raw sludge samples; test pH, alkalinity, volatile acids, total solids, dissolved oxygen, organic material content, sulfides, and residual chlorine.
You'll also maintain a comprehensive quality assurance program based on the established guidelines; perform computations, maintain & prepare records and reports; operate and maintain laboratory equipment and materials; and perform other duties as required.

- High School Diploma or GED
- Completion of at least twelve semester units in chemistry or bacteriology
- Laboratory certification at the appropriate level when required by the State
- One year of laboratory testing and experience
- Basic understanding of computer software including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and data management systems.
- A valid driver's license with no major infractions
Ideally, You'll Also Have:
- One year of experience with knowledge of the concepts of chemistry, biology, and related experiences; procedures and materials used in chemical, biochemical, and bacteriological testing; laboratory safety and equipment and material care and maintenance
- Knowledge of the concepts and methods of biological and chemical sewage testing, effects and problems of industrial waste in water/wastewater treatment processes
- Safe work practices
