In this role, you will not only support our Senior HRT Managers but also receive valuable guidance, mentorship, and training in order to grow within this specialized area of human resources.
Job Description:
As an Entry-Level Human Resource & Team Support (HRT) Manager you will play a critical role in our HR department, catering to the distinctive requirements of the veterinary profession. You will assist our Senior HRT Managers in addressing HR-related challenges specific to this field, provide HR support and guidance to veterinary practice owners, and collaborate with other departmental service managers to to ensure iVET360's vision of helping more pets is accomplished.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the HR team to assist hospitals recruit, onboard, and manage veterinary professionals.
  • Assist Senior HRT Managers in creating and implementing HR policies tailored to our veterinary clients.
  • Makes recommendations on specific HR and Team Support protocols, procedures, and legal requirements to help achieve client's goals.
  • Communicate with hospitals according to schedule outlined by practice and internal team (when applicable) to monitor progress on current initiatives and plan new initiatives.
  • Builds positive relationships with clients to gain trust and increase engagement to get better utilization of best practices.
  • Conducts detailed surveys with hospital teams to determine best cultural direction of the practice.
  • Contribute to the development of training programs specific to the veterinary field.
  • Handle administrative tasks, such as scheduling, document preparation, and responding to inquiries.
  • Engage in routine continuing education specific to HR laws and requirements to ensure the most up-to-date information is being provided to clients.
  • Learn and apply HR best practices with a focus on the veterinary profession.

Qualifications:
  • Mathematical ability - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, and to compute rate, ratio, and percent; ability to convert units of measurement.
  • Computer skills - Comfortably and confidently uses a computer and specialized software. Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, etc.
  • Language skills - Reads, writes, and speaks fluent English, using appropriate grammar, style, and vocabulary. Demonstrates exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience - A minimum of 2 years relevant professional experience is required, preferably with three years or more in multi-location management in a service industry.
  • Knowledge of the veterinary industry or human resources is preferred.
  • Education - Advanced education in human resources, business, or relevant field preferred. Ability to obtain certification in human resources strongly preferred.
