Job Summary:

An ideal Exhibitor Sales Representative will have a strong understanding of the sales process and excel at researching leads and forging new relationships. You should be a quick learner with strong communication skills and have the ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way. Every prospect is an opportunity for you to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels, and profitability.

Responsibilities:

  • Represent SmartSource professionally and provide first level responses to customer/prospect inquiries.
  • Interact with potential customers who call or submit an email inquiry.
  • Document all activities within our CRM (Salesforce), maintaining flawless data management.
  • Execute outreach to potential and previous customers via email and phone to promote SmartSource Lead Retrieval and AV&IT solutions for trade shows and events.
  • Meet sales quota and maintain high email / call volume daily.
  • Determine exhibitor needs and goals and provide solutions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Must be able to travel 30% - 40% of the time.
  • Energetic person that will thrive in high velocity environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills (in person, via telephone, and online).
  • Positively represent SmartSource to the public.
  • Outstanding written and oral communications skills.
  • Act with sense of urgency to respond to each external inquiry.
  • Convention/ trade show services experience a plus.
  • Strong organization, problem solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Office 365, including Outlook, Excel and Teams.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
  • A positive, can-do attitude with a desire to continually improve performance and take it to the next level.
