Job Description

AECOM is seeking an Entry Level Civil Engineer to be based in Meridian, ID .

This position is expected to begin in May or June 2024.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

+ Builds analytic and design skills.

+ Work with MicroStation or Open Roads and other design software.

+ Uses computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems.

+ Collects and analyzes data under the supervision of an experienced engineer.

+ Conducts engineering design under the supervision of an experienced engineer.

+ Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule under supervision.

+ Perform a variety of roadway planning studies, such as feasibility studies, alternatives analyses, and NEPA environmental clearance.

+ Creates designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under the supervision of an experienced engineer.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

+ B.S. Civil Engineering, or Construction Management

+ Valid U.S. Driver's License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices.

+ As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Knowledge of MicroStation software

+ Knowledge of Open Roads

+ Knowledge of AutoCAD

Additional Information

+ Relocation assistance is available for this position.

+ Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.

+ This position requires a hybrid work schedule which includes in office work in Meridian, ID . The selected candidate must be available to work in Meridian, ID on a scheduled basis.

+ Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range is $60,000-86,000annually (exempt).
