Job Description

AECOM is seeking An Entry Level Architecture Designer to be based in Chicago, IL

This position is expected to begin in June 1, 2024

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Work directly with AECOM architects, interior designers, and engineers to develop design solutions at all levels of detail.
• Work with Project Architects to develop and organize design presentations and packages for projects.
• Work under the support of licensed professionals to develop complete sets of construction drawings for new building, renovation, and tenant improvement projects.
• Assist Project Architects during the construction administrative phases.
• Assist in developing design solutions to a wide range of technical architectural challenges

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from an accredited university.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Excellent working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD. 
• Excellent working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Rhino, Sketchup, and Enscape.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task work on multiple simultaneous projects in a fast-paced work environment.

• Relocation is not available with position

• Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.  The hourly range for this position is $25 - $35/hr
