WHAT YOU’LL DO

The Enterprise Sales Executive is responsible for all sales functions within an assigned territory. These sales functions include but are not limited to executing sales strategy, forecasting, identifying needs, soliciting, securing contracts from potential and existing customers, and providing outstanding customer service throughout the customer lifecycle for our internet, voice ,and other services in all segments of our enterprise customer markets.

  • Sales territory includes Bloomington, Bedford, Jasper, and specific surrounding areas in Indiana
  • This opportunity is a hybrid role that requires onsite work when attending weekly sales meetings, one-on-one coaching sessions with manager, assigned training, and other events
  • Access to a company pool vehicle during regular business hours

  • Annual base salary with uncapped commissions

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Acquiring new business by prospecting for new customers in the assigned territory(via telephone calls, door-to-door, emails, letters, social media, and networking)
    • Leveraging relationships via referral and key industry partners
    • Gaining referrals from current customers
    • Attending community events
  • Providing consultative selling solutions to both new and existing customers
    • Cross-selling new products and services
    • Building long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with all influencers while understanding their budgeting needs
    • Delivering customized solutions which meet customer expectations
  • Sales forecasting, meeting and exceeding company sales metrics by gaining profitable business
    • Building and maintaining a consistent sales funnel and pipeline or opportunities
    • Tracking relevant productivity metrics and adjusting activity
    • Managing sales opportunities through CRM (Salesforce) to help drive the sales process
  • Maintaining and strengthening relationships with existing customers
    • Being resourceful and taking the initiative to resolve customer issues
    • Developing a relationship with partners to build a professional network in territory to educate the business community
    • Following-up to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Pursuing professional and personal development to ensure competitive knowledge of industry products

WHAT YOU NEED

  • Bachelor's degree required or an acceptable combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years of experience in negotiating and closing commercial sales, while building and maintaining long-term business relationships
  • Familiarity with the telecommunications industry and/or knowledge of fiber optic internet, voice services and other products
  • Strong understanding and experience in services such as VOIP, fiber-option solutions, broadband, and dark fiber leases
  • Excellent interpersonal and effective communication skills including excellent writing skills
  • Customer-focused, with understanding of overall business needs and costs
  • Comfortable meeting customers at their locations, including business, home, or other sites and working outside of normal business hours as needed
  • Self-directed and results driven, high level of time management
  • Experience with identifying, prospecting, and penetrating defined base of accounts
  • Experience working in Salesforce or other equivalent CRM is a plus
