Form of workDelaware North Global Headquarters is hiring a Data Engineering Intern to join us in a summer intern role in 2024. As an intern on our Enterprise Data team, you will help support Delaware North's vision of using data as a differentiator in the hospitality industry.
This internship is paid and can be completed for academic credit. The summer internship will span 10-14 weeks between May-August 2024.

- Triage and resolve support issues for the data platform and supporting systems.
- Implement data platform improvements and new features.
- Work with the Data Engineering team to identify and implement improvements to support and data quality tools.
- Interface with clients, vendors, and internal users of the data platform on systems access, as well as understand the data.
- Participate in group design and architecture sessions.
- Author documentation for standard operating procedures, knowledge base articles, and related documents.
- Pursuing an undergraduate or master level degree in STEM, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science/Analytics.
- Software/Technical Skills: Python programming language experience, exposure to cloud technologies, Unix/Linux experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively through verbal, e-mail, and wiki means.
