This position is responsible for representing the college in a positive and professional manner while recruiting new students as part of the College's continuous open enrollment student recruitment program. This position requires excellent verbal and written communications and strong time management skills. This individual must be able to problem solve where needed (ie: assist students by referring them to agencies that can provide child care, transportation and other support services).
Job Responsibilities:
- Primary point-of-contact for prospective new students
- Be available for lead rotation 95% of the time.
- Manage all Prospective student database and prospective student activities. A typical day will consist of 75% phone work and 25% in-person student activity with normally 150-200 outbound calls on average per day. Ensure that all Prospective student database activity matches actual time spent on telephone and interviews completed on a daily basis. Follow-up with all assigned inquiries as appropriate with telephone, email, letter and schedule appointments for in-person interviews and campus tours.
- Conduct campus tours to prospective students and their families, discussing the benefits of attending the college. All prospective students must receive a catalog and all required disclosures on their first visit to the campus.
- Represent the college at public events, including student events and career fairs as requested by supervisor.
- Support campus marketing efforts and messaging; report any errors to the Director of Marketing; provide feedback for better campaigns
- Complete with 100% accuracy all student enrollment documents and forms
- Maintain a pleasant and professional attitude and appearance, supporting a team-oriented work environment
- Assist and conduct new student orientations, as assigned by supervisor.
- Participate in meetings, as assigned by supervisor.
- Follow best practices and comply with all company policies and procedures
- Uphold the highest levels of professionalism, with high ethical conduct expected 100% of the time
- Attend all required team and company training.
- Performs other position related duties, as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of admissions experience in post secondary vocational education institution is required for a Senior Admissions Representative role
- Computer skills
- Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written.
- Outstanding customer service skills required.
- Effective time management skills is required
- Flexible schedule and ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma required; bachelor's degree or post-secondary education is preferred

Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift
- Evenings as needed
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
