QUALIFICATIONS: Valid NJDOE Teacher of Englsih Certificate (K-12).
Demonstrated knowledge of subject specialty and effective teaching methods.
Ability to maintain a positive learning environment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status
Must meet NJ Residency requirements as per the New Jersey First Act, N.J.S.A. 52:14-7 (L. 2011, Chapter 70).
REPORTS TO: Principall
TERMS OF
EMPLOYMENT: Kenilworth Board of Education's long-term substitute teacher rate of $345 per day.
In accordance with N.J.S.A. 18A:16-1:1, time accrued as a Leave Replacement teacher does not count towards tenure.
Member of the Central to Jersey Program for the Recruitment of Diverse Educators.
