English Language Arts Teacher

IKM-Manning Community School District is looking for a 6-8 English Language Arts Teacher.

Salary Pay Starting: $43,000.00 (Negotiable pending experience)

Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the Language Arts curriculum.
- Teach Language Arts concepts and skills to students using a variety of instructional strategies.
- Assess student learning through formative and summative assessments.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their growth and development.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and participation.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
- Valid endorsement or willingness to get endorsement
- Proven experience teaching Language Arts at the middle or high school level.
- Strong knowledge of Language Arts curriculum standards and instructional best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Proficient in using technology for instructional purposes.
