Language and Literacy Preschool Teacher
Responsibilities:
Lesson Plan Development:
- Create age-appropriate lesson plans that seamlessly integrate storytelling, dramatic play, movement, and music to enrich the learning experience.
- Develop a curriculum that enhances language and literacy skills while nurturing creativity.
Classroom Management:
- Cultivate a positive and engaging classroom atmosphere that fosters creativity, self-expression, and professionalism.
- Organize and maintain the classroom space, props, and materials to ensure a safe and stimulating environment for the children.
Instruction:
- Conduct interactive lessons tailored to the developmental levels of preschoolers.
- Coordinate periodic performances or presentations to showcase students' creative talents and encourage a professional approach to the performing arts.
Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to seamlessly integrate activities into the overall curriculum.
- Maintain regular communication with parents, providing updates on their child's progress with a professional and compassionate demeanor.
Professional Development:
- Stay updated on current trends and best practices in early childhood education for young children.
- Actively participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills, ensuring a high level of professionalism in your work.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- Proven experience working with preschool-aged children in an educational setting.
- Experience in developing and implementing creative and engaging curriculum.
- A passion for working with children, with the ability to build rapport and maintain a positive and professional demeanor.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of child development principles and their application in a learning environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with both children and parents, demonstrating professionalism at all times.

Certifications:
