Responsibilities:
Essential & Secondary Functions:
Safety:
• Responsible to follow all safety procedures and practices.

• Ensures and maintains the quality guidelines, procedures, and standards are consistently followed throughout the manufacturing operation.
Responsibility & Customer-Focused:
- Generation and maintenance of part, product, and sub-assembly CAD files.
- Generation and maintenance of part, product, and sub-assembly Bill of Materials.
- Generation of Engineering Change Requests.
- Perform and log calibrations on production and test equipment.
- Perform mechanical tests on finished and prototype products.
- Perform mechanical tests on components.
- Prepare detailed test reports as required.
- Assist engineers as needed.
- Work with Purchasing to provide necessary drawings or details on purchased components.
- Assist in the design of experiments required to determine optimum process/recipe parameters.
- Aid in creation of operating manuals and procedures.
- Support 5S Lean practices: Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain.
- Participates in the preparation of specific process documentation, as required.
- Work with manufacturing, QA, vendors, and engineering, document corrective and preventive actions for repetitive past problems.
- Assist Customer Service in the diagnosis of mechanical or environmental related customer problems notified through customer returns, phone calls or customer visits.
- Work with Electrical, Mechanical, and other lab personnel on general lab tasks.
Integrity:
- Enter data into computer database (M2M, SolidWorks, DraftSight, Databases).
- Responsible for assuring integrity of drawings, BOM's, test reports and other documents.
.Respect & Family:
- Work with Manufacturing Supervisor to help resolve quality issues in a timely manner, documenting the corrective action.

Education, Experience, Training, Certifications and Licenses:
Degree or equivalent experience:
• Associates degree in a technical field of interest or equivalent experience.
Years of experience:
- Five years in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Training in:
- Knowledge of CAT software required. Knowledge of SolidWorks preferred.
Licenses in:
• As required.
Certifications in:
• As required.
Other requirements:
Must successfully pass any pre-screening test(s).
