What you’ll do with “Our Training and Your Experience”

- Responsible for the application engineering, programming, troubleshooting, start-up, and check-out of assigned installed projects including small to medium projects.
- Assisting senior Engineering Specialist on large projects to include field startup and field check-out.
- Individuals work shall be in accordance with the established quality standards.
- This role is the technical support contact for our customer and is responsible for maximizing customer satisfaction with Building Automation Systems.
- Ensures projects are effectively executed to budgeted cost and time schedules.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.
What You’ll Need
- Basic knowledge of engineering principles and practices related to building automation systems, fire alarm systems, and/or electronic security systems.
- Basic programming skills and proven ability to troubleshoot problems and look for solutions.
- Solid mechanical and electrical aptitude (e.g., works with a variety of hand and power tools such as drill, screwdriver, wire stripper, crimper).
- Frequent visits to jobsites are required. Travel within Alaska is required. Valid driver’s license required.
- Proficient computer skills including MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Very Basic networking & IT skills.

Requirements:
Education: High school diploma, trade school or equivalent work experience
Preferred Experience: (but not required):
- 1-3 years low-voltage systems.
- Experience in 1 or more of the following industries: electronic, fire alarm & life safety, and/or building automation.
- College Degree in mechanical or electrical engineering
