Description
Prevailance is seeking an experienced, mission-focused professional to be a Engineering Subject Matter Expert (SME) III (Auxiliaries, Electricians, Damage Control) for Commander Naval Surface Force, U.S. Atlantic Fleet (CNSL) Engineering Readiness Assist Team (ERAT) / Combat Systems Readiness Assist Team (CSRAT). The contractor shall have the technical rigor and experience to mirror that of a senior enlisted engineer on Steam/Diesel (LHD/LSD/LPD/LCS), and Gas Turbine (CG/DDG/LCS) propulsion systems, demonstrating relevant shipboard experience within the past 5 years.
Requirements
- 20 years of U.S. Navy experience as a Senior Departmental Enlisted Engineer to include multiple sea tours as Engineering Officer of the Watch, Engineering Division Leading Chief, and Engineering Work Center Supervisor
- Must have experience in providing training and assessments at the senior technician level (often E8-E9 audience) and ship's wardrooms
- Must have recent experience conducting technical briefs at all levels of shipboard managers/technicians
- Graduate of associated Navy A and C schools
Strongly Desired:
- A former Top Snipe shall have completed the NEC bearing course, been designated by a Commanding Officer, graduate of appropriate A and C schools, and have served in various capacities within a ship's engineering department, and completed a minimum of three tours

High School Graduate or equivalent
Clearance:
Must possess or be able to obtain a SECRET clearance
