Job Primary Duties (but not limited to):

  • Reuse and Salvage Program Administration

    • Manage current program and grow total number of dealers enrolled in the program.

    • Improve global acceptance of the program.

    • Manage Warranty Claims Administration working with the AFA + CR SME's, Warranty Analyst and Global Warranty Team

    • Program's Communication key KPI performance with global PSOR's, M&OS, GDL and GSD SME's and the Leadership team

    • Develop and deploy framework of the new program aligned with the industries key business priorities and the Service Excellence Program

    • Develop and Communicate Marketing Strategy for “Reuse” as a Repair Option

    • Component Reuse (CR) Global Process Ownership

    • Component Reuse (CR) Course Accreditation Launch and Support for global Cat dealers.

    • Communicate and market CR Course accreditation with global GDL Instructors and the GDL leadership team.

    • Conduct Scrap Barrel Analysis (SBA)

    • Develop R&S Guidelines to support teams overall goals improving product coverage.

    • Special Projects Leadership depending on business and team's need.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Degree in Engineering , Business Administration

  • 9+ years related experience.

  • Strategic Thinking: Knowledge of the importance of "big picture" thinking and planning; ability to apply organizational acumen and competitiveness to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization.

  • Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools, and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

  • Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with Cat SME's, Cat dealers contacts and the peers.

  • Customer Focus: Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.

  • Data Gathering & Analysis: Knowledge of data gathering and analysis tools, techniques, and processes; ability to collect and synthesize data from a variety of stakeholders and sources in an objective manner to reach a conclusion, goal, or judgment.

  • Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.

  • Negotiating: Knowledge of successful negotiation concepts and techniques; ability to negotiate successfully across the organization, dealers and external vendors in a constructive and collaborative manner.

  • Value Selling: Knowledge of the principles and practices for selling products, technology, and services; ability to provide overall product/service 'value' and to differentiate support offerings that address clearly understood customer needs.

Top Candidates will also have:

  • Four-year bachelor's degree preferably in information systems, engineering, computer science, or related field.

  • Self-starter and driven while working well in team environment.

  • Create innovative solutions to solve business problems.

  • The ability to demonstrate digital capabilities and basic product support experience.

  • Knowledge of Caterpillar Dealer systems, dealer business and processes

  • Project Management Experience

  • AFA1 & Component Reuse Training

  • Scrap Barrel Analysis (SBA) exposure at a Dealer.

  • 3+ years of Dealer Training and dealer facing roles.

  • 3+ years of practical experience delivering production deployed solutions.

  • 3+ years of delivering projects with global impact.

  • Strong knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Data Analytics, and the Reporting tools

Additional Info :

  • This position will require up to 25% of working time travel (both international and domestic travel).

  • This position is in Peoria, IL (Building LC)
