What you will be doing:
The Engineering Lab Technician will work collaboratively in a team to complete discrete tasks in regard to the Engineering Lab. This position will be performing hand soldering on various circuit assemblies, follow specific schematics and wiring diagrams, and use visual aids as needed (eye loops, scopes, magnifying tools, etc.) for assembly and/or inspection. The applicant will perform in-process inspection in conformance with existing procedures.
What we expect from you:
Our ideal candidate will have experience with electrical assembly (solder, wire crimp, cable assemblies). They will also be expected to us the tools associated with electrical assembly such as tweezers, fine screwdrivers, soldering irons, etc. In addition to assembly, the candidate will be expected complete the necessary paperwork in order to move onto the next stage of production in a completed, accurate state. The candidate will offer suggestion and improvements as they see them and write/revise instructions and procedures as required.
The candidate will need to have the ability to communicate effectively in English and have a positive attitude. Spanish/Mandarin Fluency is a plus.
