SalaryCity Experiences is seeking an Engineering Intern for our NYC Ferry operation in Brooklyn NY.

About the Opportunity:
As an Engineering Department Intern, you will assist the Project Coordinator in fulfilling company goals and ensuring outside agencies requirements are continuously met.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate RESPECT Values and QUEST Hospitality Behaviors with internal and external guests
- Work to achieve the highest levels of performance and productivity
- Ensure all aspects of safety during execution of tasks
- Perform cleaning and custodial tasks of the vessels and property
- Demonstrate ability to trace and draw diagrams of all systems on the vessels i.e., fuel, steering, potable water, etc.
- Perform basic PM maintenance on vessels i.e., oil changes, filter changes
- Observe and assist with troubleshooting on vessel systems
- Observe and assist with major engine overhauls
- Observe and assist with vessel replenishment i.e., fuel, potable water, diesel exhaust fluid, etc.
- PM data entry into CMMS
- Data/trend analysis
- Hull survey and documentation of findings
- Additional job duties as assigned
- Strategic thinker with amiable personality, positive outlook, and expert communication skills.
- Organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Currently enrolled in a New York college
- Flexible work shifts to optimize learning experience
