The Position:
We are a dynamic and rapidly growing tech startup with a focus on innovation and excellence. As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Chief of Staff, Engineering to join our team. This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our engineering department, driving collaboration, and contributing to the overall success of the organization. This role reports to our VP of Engineering (VPE).
What You’ll Do:
Lead and manage key initiatives, fostering collaboration among Engineering Directors (EDs) and Engineering Managers (EMs), ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Provide comprehensive operational support to the VPE by preparing meeting agendas, organizing and prioritizing action items, and efficiently documenting and disseminating key takeaways from Engineering leadership meetings.
Collaborate with VPE on strategic technical planning, including innovation initiatives and investment allocation by contributing market research and data analysis.
Support organizational health in Engineering by keeping a pulse on key issues impacting Engineers and tracking important organizational metrics.
Help set up and monitor progress on OKRs in conjunction with cross functional departments.
Act as an extension of VPE, managing day-to-day and being eyes and ears of organization.
Market research and analysis to identify emerging tech, methodologies, and scaling best practices.

Prior experience with an app based, cloud backed product

The target salary range for this position is between $150,000 and $200,000. This is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes incentive, equity, and benefits for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all teammate pay regularly to ensure competitive and fair pay.

Compensation Range: $150K - $200K
