Join our team as a Threat Detection Engineer and develop custom detection and automate investigation tasks for fraud and abuse. In this role, you will work with a team of skilled analysts to reliably solve complex problems, while getting hands-on experience with cutting edge technologies. We are looking for skilled developers and data analysts with experience in one or more of the following areas: Python, SQL, Hive/Hadoop, Splunk. About You
Four-year degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent preferred
Experience working with Python, SQL, Hadoop/Hive, Spark.
Experience with data analysis in Python
Experience with data analysis in Splunk is good to have.
Experience in data wrangling & processing large data sets, including but not limited to cleaning and preparing data, querying data, and conducting exploratory analysis
Experience with data analysis, detection, and application of statistical knowledge to real world problems
Passion for solving interesting and relevant real-world problems.
Understanding of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong team player.
This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will need to be performed both onsite on a weekly basis at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
