- Open to candidates from the Engineer to Engineer Senior level. Pay dependent on experience.
- Remote position.
- Travel: approximately 5% to visit job sites, meetings or trainings.
- This position will be part of the Distributed Energy Resource (DER) Interconnection Studies and Standards team, a part of Distribution’s Modeling and Analysis Department.
- Execute DER screening assessments and interconnection studies across the Company footprint.
- Coordinate, support and review work performed by external consultants.
- Develop and up keep Company Distribution’s DER interconnection policies, standards and requirements.
- Support regulatory and policy support and advocacy in the DER space for the Distribution Planning.
- Evaluate new technologies and participate in industry forums related to DER for the Distribution Planning and Analysis function.
- Bachelor degree in Engineering in a program accredited by ABET with 2+ years of experience. (6 or more years of related engineering experience at the Senior level).
- Valid U.S. driver’s license.
