Engineer, Production - Hydrocarbon Accounting

Venture Global LNG ("Venture Global") is a long-term, low-cost provider of American-produced liquefied natural gas. The company's two Louisiana-based export projects service the global demand for North American natural gas and support the long-term development of clean and reliable North American energy supplies. We are seeking a Production Hydrocarbon Accounting Engineer based in Arlington, Virginia.

This role will initially report to the Production Engineering Manager and will be responsible for developing and maintaining the Calcasieu Pass Production data and reports.

 Responsibilities:

• Accountable for the development and maintenance of all the Calcasieu Pass facility Production reports, including but not limited to:
  • The daily, weekly and monthly production reports 
  • The production performance analysis and reporting, including production performance KPIs
  • The Production Loss Management reports: Develop and maintain the loss accounting summaries to allow for the identification and categorization of production losses
• Support the design and deployment of the Production Data Mangement System of the Calcasieu Pass facility with all the relevant stakeholders, including Operations, Commercial Operations, etc...
• Be part of metering and measurement troubleshooting and carry out the data analysis required to confirm the validity and accuracy of production measurements 
• Work with the Commercial Operations Team to ensure all production reports are seamlessly integrated with LNG Cargo lifting and scheduling process
• Support the production forecasting process and provide timely data to develop the monthly forecast and the Annual Delivery Plan
• Support environmental and compliance reporting 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Process/Chemical or Petroleum Engineering.
• One (1) to  four (4) years' experience working as an Engineer in a process plant environment would be a plus. 
• Engineering graduates with a demonstrable passion to pursue a career in this discipline would also be considered. 
• Oil and Gas experience is required, with preference in LNG applications, however, petrochemical, NGL, cryogenic natural gas processing, or other hydrocarbon processing experience may be acceptable.
