Job Summary:

A position is available on the V2500 Customer Technical Service (CTS) team for an entry level Customer Service Engineer.  The CTS engineer works directly with airline customers in support of service issued including: (1) Coordinating resolution of service issues with organizations such as the Engineering, Quality, Overhaul and Repair, and Program Office business centers, (2) Continue to evolve / develop new maintenance criteria as well as retrofit plans to ensure that Customers have reliable and cost-effective operations.  Coordinate with the technical publication organization (MDE) and provide direction for all technical publication issues.  Interface with airframe companies by providing design, operation, maintenance, and customer service data.  

This position offers the opportunity to interface with all facets of engine design, manufacturing, assembly, testing and field support. This assignment offers interesting and exciting insight into a mature, well-established and highly visible engine program.  This job requires flexibility and adaptability to changing requirements as well as the ability to work multiple tasks simultaneously. 

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline
• Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship
• Fluent in English (verbal/written)
• Minimum GPA of 3.0

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and within multi-functional teams
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical P&W customers

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. This means that responsibilities of the job need to be performed onsite on a regular basis.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.

The salary range for this role is 53,000 USD - 103,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
