Overview
General Dynamics Electric Boat currently operates three (3) dry docks and two (2) building ways that are certified by the U.S. Navy in accordance with MIL-STD-1625. The Groton Facilities department is seeking individuals to manage the certification of these business-critical assets.
This position entails configuration management of the physical assets as well as the certification documents (facility certification reports, maintenance manuals, and operating manuals). Job functions will include identifying projects required for the facilities to continue to operate at their certified rated capacities, execution of the same projects, defining maintenance requirements, reviewing maintenance records, and supporting drydocking and launch evolutions as technical support.
