The primary responsibility of this position is to assist in the design, installation and monitoring of enterprise-wide security software, internal security devices and authentication services associated with the company's security controls, as well as ensuring daily security operations are performed along with management of the company's security control systems. Required Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Computer Science or IT related field from a four-year college or university strongly preferred. 3+ years of related experience is required. Experience hardening and securing Windows and Linux environments. PCI and SOX knowledge and experience are preferred. Experience in gathering threat intelligence and reconnaissance. Security +, CySA or other comparable professional certifications are required.
Required Computer and/or Technical Skills:
Should have intermediate to advanced knowledge and abilities with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

- Proactively identify user security issues and work to troubleshoot and coordinate resolution by using a variety of security applications and tools.
- Works closely with other functional area architects, Infrastructure, NOC, developers, etc., to ensure adequate security solutions are in place throughout all IT systems and platforms to mitigate identified risks sufficiently, and to meet business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Serves as a security expert in application development, database design, network and/or platform (operating system) efforts, helping project teams comply with enterprise and IT security policies, industry regulations, and best practices.
- Fosters relationships with key stakeholders from IT, business groups, IT security vendors and strategic partners
- Act as a mentor by designing, scheduling and conducting training with junior staff
- Endpoint security design and administration
- Provide high-level proactive technical support to include security configurations, security policy modifications and diagnostics to remove network security issues.
- Ensure security policies address business needs while protecting vital enterprise assets.
- Perform network vulnerability scans and provide remediation support and alternatives.
- Identify emerging vulnerabilities and evaluate associated risks and threats.
- Other security related duties as assigned.
