Your Responsibilities


As an Engine Performance Analystfor John Deere Power Systems located in Waterloo, IA, you will:


  • Assist in deploying analysis and establishing state-of-the-art model architecture and workflow processes throughout engine engineering.
  • Provide support to engine development programs, conducting complex performance analysis simulations and optimization tasks.
  • Assist in developing advanced model capabilities, methodologies, processes and tools.
  • Assist in developing comprehensive new model test protocols, calibration procedures and analysis methodologies.

What Skills You Need


  • 3 or more years' industry experience in Engine Performance OR 1 or more years' industry experience combined with relevant advanced degree
  • 1 or more years' experience using GT-Power (and GT-Suite in general)
  • 2 or more years' (strong proficiency) with standard engineering software, including Matlab
  • 2 or more years' experience with Thermo-fluids
  • Strong communication and team skills

What Makes You Stand Out


  • 3 or more years' (intermediate) proficiency using GT-Power (and GT-Suite in general)
  • 3 or more years' engineering experience with heavy-duty diesel engines
  • Master of Science Engineering degree or higher

Education


Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:


  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or other related engineering discipline
