Engine Adjuster - 1st Shift and 2nd Shift

Adjusts 2-stroke engines to Engineering specifications following written adjustment procedures. Calibrates adjustment equipment to defined specifications as necessary to maintain consistent results. Reports any engine irregularities to the Supervisor immediately. Records data as required. Maintains a clean and organized work area at all times.
1st Shift M-F 6:30am-2:45pm!
Starting at $18.00/HR!
2nd Shift M-F 3:15pm - 11:30pm!
Starting at $18.00/HR + $1 Shift differential = $19.00/HR!

KEY JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Adjusts 2-stroke internal combustion engines to Engineering specifications following written procedures.
• Evaluate engine performance and notify Supervisor of any irregularities.
• Regularly checks equipment to assure that tolerances are maintained.
• Maintains tools, fixtures and benches required for engine adjustment in a neat and orderly condition.
• Records data as required.
• Performs various other duties and assignments as requested to assist the operation and overall functioning of the department and company.

ADA:

• Ability to read and interpret tachometer, CO meter and other measuring devices. Ability to follow written procedures and follow verbal instructions. Able to stand 100% of the time. Able to lift 50 lbs. Willing to take a company sponsored physical examination and audiometric test.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Working knowledge of 2-stroke engine operation.
