BAE Systems is seeking a Sr. Principal Systems Engineer in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
 
The BAE Systems Adaptive Communications and Sensing, C4ISR Systems business is the primary source of HF & VHF/UHF SATCOM Tactical Radio (TR) equipment for the US Air Force and Army. This team, based at Fort Wayne, Indiana, is responsible for the Architecture, Specification, Development and Analysis of Mission Critical equipment in support of over the horizon mission communications. Some aspects of this work are classified. 
 
The candidate will have a wide range of activities to perform from a Systems Engineering perspective.  These activities include; integrating hardware and software on tactical airborne subsystems, creating requirements for hardware and software development, assisting our military customers with BAE Systems product's integration and testing, and preparing estimates and technical content for multi-million dollar proposals.  In addition, performing data analysis on production trend data, identify 
 
The Systems Engineering group's activities include but are not limited to:
 

• Performing integration, verification, and validation of airborne tactical radios.
• Creating qualification test plans, procedures, and reports.
• Utilizing MBSE tools for collaboration of models across program, business sectors, and customers
• Developing coherent product specifications and design documentation from multiple disparate source documents using DOORS
• Support customer location platform integration
• Creating or updating product Technical Manuals
• Ability to work multiple tasks and prioritize effort to meet completion date
