Job Purpose
Dana Incorporated is seeking to fill Manufacturing Engineering positions for the 2023 Spring and Summer time period at their manufacturing facility in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. This is a great opportunity to develop your technical skills by working alongside Dana's engineers in the completion of departmental oriented tasks, projects, and assignments.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Manufacturing engineers work specifically with the production of our gearsets.
• Work manufacturing engineers to improve process design and maximize efficiency.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues.
• Assist with manufacturing process improvements.
• Participate in quality review and corrective action implementation.
Requirements
• Enrollment & active pursuit of a Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Engineering specific majors: Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering
• Proven work experience, strong analytical ability, & excellent mechanical aptitude.
• Self-directed & motivated individual with great organizational skills.
• Experience with Manufacturing or Assembly a plus.
• Willing to do multiple assignments & rotate through other engineering departments.
• Full-time availability.
• Good oral & written communication skills.
• Must be able to interface in a team environment.
