Job Description
Reports To: Sr. Operations Manager Department: Operations
Pay Band: Exempt Effective Date: April 2023
Overall Responsibilities:
This position works directly with the Enforcement Department and serves as MPA liaison between other municipalities including the City of Miami, City of Doral, and the general public. Also, the Administrator of the duties listed below.
Duties:
- Provides quality customer service.
- Acts as a liaison between enforcement and other departments.
- Coordinates and schedule parking rental for various uses in accordance with MPA policy.
- Works directly with valet companies on new, renewed approval permits, spaces rentals and fines.
- Works directly with construction companies on MOT (Management of Traffic) permits, parking spaces rentals.
- Prepares invoices for parking spaces rentals for customers.
- Coordinates on-street parking spaces, lots, garage rentals for special events.
- Attends all monthly special events meetings to coordinate parking needs.
- Works closely with Enforcement Managers on daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Responsible for the upkeep of all handhelds and the backup of all field pictures.
- Works closely with Enforcement Managers on equipment maintenance, inventory, orders, and repairs.
- Responsible for Bodycam maintenance and backup.
- Responsible for LPR reports and software updates.
- Coordinates the issue of City Zoning letters for new or current business parking verification.
- Responsible for all residential zones petitions and implementations.
- Responsible for voiding citations requested by officers upon manager assignment.
- Prepares court subpoenas for officers.
- Performs other tasks as required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Skilled in the use of personal computers and associated programs and applications necessary for successful job performance; advanced skills in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures.
- Ability to make difficult arithmetic calculations and setup complex forms and statistical tables.

Supervision Received:
- Specific assignment is received from an administrative manager.
- Work is performed in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Work Is reviewed for compliance with departmental objectives and standards.
Education: Approximate equivalence of a two-year college education required.
Experience: Over three years, up to and including four years of administrative experience.
Responsibilities:
Considerable damage or loss is possible but can be prevented by a high degree of care and attention.
Constant care is necessary to prevent serious injuries and loss of manual efficiency.
Errors are difficult to detect, such as recommending unsuitable equipment resulting in excessive costs or inadequate results.
Contacts involve carrying out Agency policy and programs where improper handling would affect department results. Significant contact with the public and customers where tact, resourcefulness and courtesy are essential.
Manual Skill and Dexterity:
The skills and dexterity required are comparatively easy to acquire. Works within broad guidelines. The manual abilities required are within the capabilities of the average individual.
Physical Effort:
Normal physical effort. Duties requiring frequent mental and visual attention where workflow is intermittent, and cycle or process involves waiting. Physical capability to effectively use and operate various items of office related equipment, such as, but not limited to, computer, calculator, copier, and facsimile machine.
Light physical effort is required consisting of occasionally lifting 10-20 lb. materials.
Working Conditions:
Very good working conditions. Absence of unpleasant elements for all practical purposes. Usual office conditions.
