Pay Type: Hourly rate, bi-weekly.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday; 40 hours per week, with available overtime.

Energy Service Technician (CDL) Essential Responsibilities:

ALCIVIA is looking for an Energy Service Technician to install propane tanks and parts to residential, commercial, and agricultural members while providing routine maintenance, regulator upgrades, and leak checks.

• Install and switch out propane tanks
• Digging in gas lines
• Build strong, positive customer relationships
• Perform propane regulator upgrades
• Safety inspections of public and commercial buildings to maintain policy and regulatory standards
• Maintain zero preventable accidents
• Coordinate and communicate routes with scheduler and manager to assure jobs are completed timely
• Assist in maintaining delivery and customer records
• Support customer tank maintenance
• Help market and sell ALCIVIA product
• Assure security of truck contents by locking truck cab and cargo doors when not in use
• Fill in as energy delivery driver as demand warrants
• Support cross-divisional collaboration whenever possible
• Help out in other areas of the business as bandwidth allows
• Other duties as assigned

Energy Service Technician (CDL)Required Skills & Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED is required
• Class A CDL is required
• Clean driving record is required
• Tanker and Hazmat required (will help obtain)
• Some computer and technology skills
• Good written and verbal and communication
• Self-directed and focuses on taking action
• Ability to identify objectives and recommend the best solutions
• Accept responsibility while maintaining integrity
• Strong organization and time management
• Excellent customer service
• Positive attitude and approach to problem solving
• Must be able to sit and drive for long periods of time
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds at any given time
• Work in outdoor conditions
• Safety first mindset
