The Energy Programs Manager will help deliver the many new programs and services funded by IIJA and IRA grant opportunities, the OOR seeks a creative and knowledgeable Energy Programs Manager.
The Energy Programs Manager shall support work associated with multiple grant opportunities, including:
The Environmental Protection Agency's Climate Pollution Reduction Grant
The Department of Energy's High Efficiency Electric Home Rebate Program
The Department of Energy's HOMES Energy Efficiency Rebates Program
The Department of Energy's State Energy Program (SEP)
The Department of Energy's Grid Resilience grant
The Energy Programs Manager shall report to the Director of the Office of Resiliency (or their designee)
Duties of the Energy Programs Manager shall include:
Managing and providing administrative support and state coordination on all grant funded projects from scoping to final completion, including working with State compliance and procurement staff
Serving as the primary contact for all state agencies and coordinating contractors for the purposes of grant funded activities
Coordinating with OOR staff and grant funded consultants and contractors to ensure grant funded deliverable completion
Ensuring all grant-funded work is distributed, as required, to all necessary stakeholders and participating parties
Providing administrative support for and attending grant related community engagement meetings
Coordinating with OOR staff to develop communication materials related to grant funded work
Centering low-income and disadvantaged community voices in all grant funded work
Ensuring Justice40 initiative goals are met/exceeded in program deliverables
Provide technical and research support to the Energy Policy Advisor
Contributing to the delivery of energy related statewide initiatives
Supporting analysis of energy related priorities and actions
Other related duties assigned
Driving Requirements:
Employees who drive on state business are subject to driver's license record checks, must maintain acceptable driving records and must complete any required driver training (see Arizona Administrative Code R2-10-207.12.)
Requires possession of and ability to retain a current, valid state-issued driver's license appropriate to the assignment
