Energy Efficiency Research Analyst

Job Description:
We are seeking an entry level to early career candidate to provide Utility Program support for ICF's Commercial Energy Division. The candidate will contribute to the development of innovative, accurate, timely, and high-quality products and services, typically working on multiple projects with all levels of staff. Program support staff at ICF have an opportunity to apply their academic knowledge & skills, gain exposure to major projects, interact with experts and clients in the field, as well as build content knowledge and consulting skills.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyzing residential energy modeling software files
  • Reviewing and processing program applications to ensure complete and accurate data submitted.
  • Developing and updating client reports
  • Creating and maintaining Excel spreadsheets and databases for internal tracking
  • Assisting in preparation of internal and client presentations
  • Liaising with subcontractors and customer service representatives
  • Solving quantitative and qualitative problems
  • Support and track contractor enrollment in programs
  • Assist in field QA/QC and/or account management as needed.
  • Prepare basic form letters, transmittals, and marketing narrative.
  • Assist customers and contractors with program application submissions.
  • Prepare basic schedules, calendar, and timeline documents.
  • Format items in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Other duties as required to support our work nationally and provide direct support to division leadership as needed.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in building science, Energy, Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business, Economics, Sciences, Policy, Engineering, or other related subject
  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel
  • Reliable transportation as there will be potential in-field QA/QC involved.
  • Construction or building science experience preferred.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is:
$48,364.00 - $82,218.00
