At our Fortune 1000 diversified energy company, you'll find a friendly, community-minded environment, with flexible work schedules, opportunities for growth and development, and competitive pay and benefits.New Jersey Natural Gas (NJNG), a subsidiary of New Jersey Resources is seeking an Energy Efficiency Program Liaison to present program overview and explain details to potential commercial participants in a collaborative sales effort to encourage program participation.Major Responsibilities:Assist in the review of commercial customers to identify the most appropriate energy efficiency program that will deliver the greatest financial and environmental customer benefitPresent program overviews and explain details to potential commercial (such as municipalities, universities, schools, hospitals, small and large businesses, and non-profit entitiesManage projects throughout the complete cycle from initial presentations to final project commissioningReview and explain audit findings and recommendations to participants.Identify and recruit quality contractors to participate at program trade alliesDevelop and maintain solid business relationships with program contractors, engineering firms, and program participantsHelp to coordinate all activities and interactions between program participants, engineering firms, SAVEGREEN staff and program contractorsProvide timely project and prospective project reportingRegularly update the CRM and Program Management System on opportunity and project statusAssist in developing program forecasting and have accountability for goals and metrics projectedDevelop detailed forecasts of program spendingSupport all evaluation, measurement and verification activities related to SAVEGREEN programs.Provide support to SAVEGREEN Residential marketing and outreach efforts when necessaryPosition Specifications:Bachelor's degree in related field is preferredAt least four years of relevant experience in the industryExperience in the sales of commercial HVAC equipment or projects or commercial energy efficiency programsStrong project management skillsExperience in project sales and oversightMust be highly motivated, have excellent presence and strong written and oral communication skillsKnowledge of PC based computer applications including but not limited to Word, Excel, and particularly PowerPointExcellent organizational and time management skillsCritical thinking skills and ability to communicate effectively to a wide range of audiencesAbility to build partnerships and influence others regardless of levelAvailability for work related travel* The above job description is reflective of the primary duties of this position and in no way limits the supervisor from assigning any other duties, responsibilities or initiatives as deemed necessary.Energize your future and join our team as we pursue a reliable, sustainable, cleaner energy future.
