Energy Analyst, Energy Efficiency Programs
Location:
St. Louis, Missouri (hybrid)

As an Operations Specialist, you will support our Utility Programs and Services Division to bring energy efficiency and bill savings to all customers, including under-served communities, for our St. Louis-based utility programs.
The Operations Specialist will support program delivery and operations, including managing progress reports, data analysis, forecasting, market research, program enhancements, and client engagement. In this role, you will provide management support and oversee the program operations. The candidate will gain exposure to various types of energy efficiency projects and collaborate with a team of professionals to provide best practice solutions to our clients. What you will be doing:
  • Provide program support and collaborate with cross-functional teams on energy efficiency projects, such as the IT and Marketing teams.
  • Ensure program alignment with goals and objectives.
  • Monitor key performance metrics and proactively resolve issues and recommend solutions.
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
  • Create written documents that convey key analytic findings for distribution to internal and external clients
  • Create and maintain analytical reports for internal tracking, and develop dashboards with easy-to-visualize interfaces.
  • Assist in preparing and delivering internal and client-facing presentations.
  • Coordinate and follow up on program quality assurance activities as necessary.
  • Undertake other duties as required to support initiatives and provide direct support to division leadership as needed.

What we need you to have (minimum qualifications):
  • Bachelor's Degree and 1+ years of work experience in energy market forecasting and analysis, building science, energy management, energy policy and planning, or related subjects.

OR
  • High School Degree and 5+ years of work experience in energy market forecasting and analysis, building science, energy management, energy policy and planning, or related subjects.

What we would like you to have:
  • Familiarity with residential energy efficient technologies and/or with the home improvement market
  • Strength in data analytics, including Excel formulas and functions or similar spreadsheet software
  • Experience with data visualization software such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Ability to independently manage tasks in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines.
  • Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential information.
  • Ability to apply detailed knowledge of organizational procedures to make independent decisions and serve as a credible resource for the management team.
  • Ability to work with all levels of internal staff, as well as outside clients and vendors.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • High degree of comfort with MS Office Applications such as: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is:
$42,933.00 - $72,987.00
