What You Will Do
To perform various direct patient care activities and assist with a variety of endoscopic procedures in the Endoscopy department under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse and the attending gastroenterologist. Facilitates patient data management through transcription, order entry, and documentation. Supports best use of resources in management on equipment, supplies, and other department resources.

Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or Equivalent
- AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare) - American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's Degree
- 1 Year endoscopy lab experience.
- 1 Year experience nursing assistance in an acute care or geriatric setting.
- GI Technical Specialist (GTS) certificate
