Endoscopy Technician

We are a busy Gastroenterology office with 31 Providers. We are looking for a team-oriented individual to provide great customer service to our patients! This individual should show great attention to detail and a passion for healthcare. We are currently expanding our Practice and are looking to bring on additional team members to help accommodate for the increased number of patients we will be seeing!

JOB SUMMARY : The Endoscopy Technician is that health team member specifically involved with the instrumentation and technical aspects of the endoscopy event. Functions cooperatively with physician and staff exhibiting teamwork characteristics in decision making process. Explains each procedure. Trained to function in a complementary role to the nurse in providing direct patient care as directed by the licensed nurse. May perform procedure follow-up call to patients. EOE

Great position for students taking a "gap year" between undergrad and nursing school, medical school, etc. Offers wonderful experience in a medical setting!

Salary: From $17.00 per hour
