As the Endoscopy Tech, you will assist nursing staff and physician during the procedure with efficient running of equipment related to the needs of the procedure. Disinfects and processes endoscopic equipment; assists with troubleshooting of equipment; Sets up room for procedures; Transports patients as needed; Stocks rooms with supplies and equipment; Assists patients with getting dressed and ambulation as directed by nursing staff; Assists with applying EKG monitors, BP cuff and pulse oximetry prior to start of case.
Full time - 40 hours/week with call rotation.
Requirements:
- BLS endorsed by the American Heart Association is required.
- 1 year of Endo Tech experience is required.
- Advanced Case Endo experience is strongly preferred.
- Must be Registered with DORA as a Surgical Tech prior to starting.
- GI Technical Specialist (GTS) advanced certification issued by SGNA needs to be obtained within 6 months.
- IAHCSMM Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER) Certification obtained within two years of hire.
- Must be available to take rotating call.
PAY RANGE
- $20.41 - $30.02/hour (Endo Tech I)
- $21.23 - $31.22/hour (Endo Tech II - SGNA Advanced Cert)
- Starting wage dependent upon experience, education/certifications, and skill set
- Current monthly retention incentive of $208/month, guaranteed thru February 2024.
- Eligible for up to a $10,000 Sign-on bonus for those with advance Endo case experience (2-year commitment required/Internal candidates not eligible for sign-on)
- Annual Bonuses based upon organizational and individual performance.
