```Duties```
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure efficient scheduling and minimize wait times
- Utilize scheduling software and systems (such as Epic, Dentrix, or other dental office systems) to manage appointments and patient information
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history and contact information. Must have experience with precertification.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding appointments and scheduling
- Collaborate with other administrative staff to ensure smooth operations of the office

- Proficiency in using scheduling software and systems, such as Epic, Dentrix, or other dental office systems
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Familiarity with ER (Emergency Room) scheduling processes is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Familiarity with phone systems and ability to handle high call volumes
