Title:Endoscopy Registered Nurse RN – Preop/PACU/OR
Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire
Setting: Surgery Center - Urology
Location: Overland Park, KS
Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday, between 8a – 5p
Pay: Competitive pay based on experience, plus a full benefits package
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Registered Nurse will be responsible for performing direct patient care within an outpatient endoscopy surgery center servicing endoscopy suites. Duties to include but not limited to:
-Assist the physicians to provide direct patient care for procedures in the pre-op, PACU and cross trained in circulating as well
-Providing patient education and procedure instructions
-Patient triaging
-Monitoring patients receiving IV sedation
-Oversees and participates in the preparation and flow of the procedure room
-Clinical documentation
-Post-anesthesia care and discharging of patients
REQUIREMENTS:
-At least 6 months of, recent, related experience working in PACU, Pre-Op, Operating Room, GI/Gastroenterology, or an Endoscopy setting
-BLS certification
-Active and clean Compact or state of Kansas licensed Registered Nurse
-The ideal candidate will have superior multi-tasking skills, be a team player and thrive in a fast paced environment
