Job Summary and QualificationsThe Endoscopy Assistant demonstrates knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, range of treatment, and care of patients appropriate to the ages of patients served; and promotes hospital customer service initiatives. This position functions primarily as cleaning/reprocessing technician of endoscopes and scope accessories.
What qualifications you will need:- Interpersonal skills to successfully interact with patients, relatives, physicians, managers, and other employees
- Clinical practice experience in the clinical specialty of his/her unit
- Current Heartsaver CPR Certifications
- Graduate of Surgical Tech Program preferred
- High School graduate or equivalent required
