Form of workThe EMT/Security Officer is responsible for ensuring that the highest level of safety, security and service standards are maintained at all times to protect the residents, employees, and visitors, as well as the assets of our community, minor emergency maintenance functions and other required duties. The EMT/Security Officer will be a first responder in response to all emergency medical situations, makes assessments and initiates appropriate medical responses, which may require performing CPR and/or First Aid as needed for residents and staff.
QUALIFICATIONS
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school or GED and have successfully completed an approved EMT training course.
- Must possess and maintain a valid Emergency Medical Tech (EMT) certification.
- Must have proof of CPR, First Aid certification
- One year security experience is required and an Arizona DPS unarmed guard certification.
- Must have a valid driver license.
- Must have the ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing in English and make rational decisions in critical situations
