Emt - Rft - Emergency Medical Services

The EMT is/will:

• Responsible for providing transportation for passengers according to the regulations established by KDMC-EMS.
• Responsible for the maintenance of all equipment, vehicles, and station to which he is assigned. He shall inspect and insure that his assigned vehicle and equipment is in efficient working condition, reporting any discrepancies when found.
• At all times maintain his assigned vehicle and equipment in such a manner as to provide clean, safe, and comfortable transportation for his passengers.
• Responsible and knowledgeable for knowing the Lincoln county area and be able to navigate this area with the aid of maps.
• Provide passengers with efficient, courteous transportation as directed by the EMS Dispatcher. Provide Basic Life Support procedures should they be required.
• Assist his partner with patient care and paperwork as directed and within his scope of practice.
