- Data Analysis and Reporting - Collect, analyze, and interpret complex healthcare data from our Meditech EMR application.
- Generate comprehensive reports, visualizations, and dashboards to present data findings to key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, administrators, and executives.
- Health Information Technology Support - Serve as a subject matter expert in healthcare information technology (HIT) systems, such as EHR, computerized physician order entry (CPOE), and clinical decision support systems (CDSS).
- Assist in the selection, implementation, and optimization of HIT solutions, ensuring seamless integration and usability across clinical departments.
- Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring they effectively utilize HIT systems and tools to enhance patient care and data capture.
- Specifically, the analyst will be the subject matter expert for the Meditech EMR application and will, once fully on-boarded, lead and perform in the following duties:
- End-user training.
- Optimizing hospital facility workflows.
- Create/maintain clinical documentation templates.
- Maintain clinical orders and order sets.
- Act as a liaison between the clinical and technical teams,
- Address patient safety issues.
- The EMR Clinical Analyst will share the responsibilities of building modules for the Meditech application:
- PCS, PWM, OE, AOM
- During the initial training period, the candidate will be required to report to the office in Frankfort for two (2) days out of the week.
- The length of the initial training period is largely dependent upon the candidate's ability to learn the EHR system.
- After the training period, the position will be predominately remote; however, the candidate may need to report to the office or the Hospital Facility as needed.
- The agency may terminate or modify the telecommuting arrangement at any time.
- EMR Application testing and User acceptance testing toward newly developed functionality or system upgrades.
- Analysis, testing, training, and support of the MEDITECH EMR clinical system.
- In-depth analysis and optimization of workflows, data collection, report details, and other technical issues associated with the use of MEDITECH.
- Provide support to users and assistance to team members.
- Liaison between clinicians, facility staff, information services, and leadership teams.
- Identify/monitor change requests for software enhancements (regs, best practice, patient safety) from a clinical perspective.
- Implementation support for future modules by assisting the business owners of each module with reengineering process, data flow, reporting and security, including role-based access.
- Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field (e.g., Nursing, Health Informatics, Healthcare Management), AND or BSN.
- A Master's degree is preferred.
- Strong understanding of healthcare delivery systems, clinical workflows, and healthcare terminology.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, such as SQL, Excel, statistical software, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Familiarity with healthcare information technology systems, including EHR, CPOE, CDSS, and interoperability standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR).
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, privacy laws, and security standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving healthcare environment.

- Meditech module build experience application is a definite plus.
