Responsible for the management of the EAP. The program is coordinated in accordance with the mission, values and beliefs of UnityPoint St. Luke's and the strategic plans of the Behavioral Health Service line. Responsible for the department development and delivery of quality services, conducting training, day-to-day operations, gathering and reporting of related data, compliance with applicable laws and regulatory standards. Provides individual, couple and family therapy for team members and their families.

Clinical Responsibilities
· Provides daily oversight and management of EAP services and is responsible for the coordination of clinical care delivery.
· Design programming and service delivery for those seeking EAP services.
· Provides individual, couple and family psycho-therapy for team members and their families.
· Facilitates team debriefings, mediation and coaching for teams in the UPH Cedar Rapids Region.
· Collaborates with managers in the organization to ensure that team members receive the services they need in a timely manner.
· Assists in providing well-being support for teams.
· Provides consultation and coaching for leaders in the organization.
Education and Leadership
· Uses learned knowledge in behavioral health to design training curriculum for community stakeholders.
· Develops marketing material on EAP and mental health outpatient services.
· Provides training to new and existing providers on contact note entry and documentation requirements.
· Participates in regional and system workgroups.
- Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy or Social Work or equivalent degree.
- Three years of therapy experience at an independent level.
- Independent Therapy License – LISW, LMFT or LMHC.
- Demonstrates an ability to apply critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to a range of situations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage priorities/deadlines.
- Customer focused.
- Use of usual and customary equipment used to perform essential functions of the position.
